We have been working for some time, redesigning our kitchen at the Baptist Chapel.
The old kitchen had come to the end of its working life and was urgently in need of a complete rebuild. Our old domestic kitchen had served the church for 15 years and was falling apart at the seams.

Through the work of Transforming Lives for Good, a Christian organization, we have recently become more aware of food poverty and holiday hunger
The New kitchen, has taken a year to design and build; and will very soon be put into action for the first time.
With a team of newly trained volunteers, we are delighted to be launching our Make Lunch Club in the Chapel this Easter.
A very exciting time for all those involved in getting this project from paper to the finished kitchen.
Partnering with TLG, we will be opening during the school holidays with fun, organized activities and a healthy meal for children and their parents or carers.
Although starting small with just one day a week, we hope to increase the number of days we are open by the long summer break this year.
The club is primarily for children and their families, who receive Free School Meals. However, we welcome any family who finds buying extra food in the holidays a struggle.
We would love to accommodate all who wish to attend, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
You can download an invitation below making sure you let us know any dietary requirements or allergies before you attend so that the organizers can cater accordingly.
Please note that on arrival, all those attending will need to be registered, and all children who attend must be accompanied by their parent or carer.
